Songbird

回到香港了。最近在备考，总是觉得时间不够用，又总是能不知不觉浪费很多时间。这几年大抵也都是这样的状态。最后一年了，过去的三年有得也好有失也好总算活的挺真实，回想起来每一件事每一个朋友都好像会生机勃勃的出现在面前。前一阵在家的时候塞了那张Oasis的精选集在车里，每天都会按出CD 1的第7首歌反复听着，叫Songbird，前奏响起就总是会有种说不出的感觉，脑袋里总是会闪过各种画面。努力思索着词汇想表达出来，可是就是怎么也没办法形容。只是一遍一遍的放，没办法停下来，似乎已经不是在听歌，而是在听自己的回音。罢了，不如你们都去听听，每个人故事不同，想必理解也不同。

力挺乌拉圭队夺冠

距离乌拉圭人第一次夺冠前后70年了，距离他们第二次夺冠有50年了，凑个整，不如再给乌拉圭人一个冠军吧。我从世界杯一开始Chrome浏览器的主题就是Uruguay，不过当时倒主要是因为设计的不错而不是因为有多么期待他们夺冠，现在既然意大利没出线，阿根廷也回家了，我力挺乌拉圭队夺冠。说来这支队伍也算是坎坷，我看的4届世界杯他们有2届没有出现，可是不知为何对他们就很有好感，（可能对南美球队除了巴西都蛮有好感吧，巴西在大罗之后就没有喜欢的人了）队服的颜色也总是让人舒服的纯色，在现代足球的一潭浮夸的污水中算是有那么点小小的与众不同。半决赛的上帝之手球也给这支队伍添上了喜剧色彩。 。最好我不要是乌鸦嘴，下一轮不要被荷兰给虐了。拭目以待吧。

Electric current leakage problem of Macbook Pro

I ordered a 13 inch macbook pro a couple of weeks ago. I didn't expect highly on my new macbook as I'm not a big fan of Apple. A week after placing the order, it finally got delivered to me. I teared the seal off, took the machine out, plugged it in and pressed the power bottom -- everything was awesome but hold on -- my left wrist was tingling all the time if I put it on the keyboard. I slipped my finger over the aluminium surface and the closer it is to the plug jack the stronger the tingling feel is. Then I realized it is, without a doubt, an electric current leakage. I searched on google and found quite a number of similar cases on macbook pro as its frame is made of aluminum. I didn't know whether it is a design flaw or a user error, since if I use the three-pin plug this problem would dismiss, until my roommate's mbp was found no such problem. I called the Apple service center and they offered me an exchange of my laptop right away. But it took them decades to do the return, shipment and delivery things again. Hopefully I got another brand new mbp a week later.

Unfortunately... the same problem still exists, and even more seriously. This time the whole laptop is fallen -- electric current leakage is everywhere on the surface. I'm nothing but disappointed. Don't wanna waste more time on dealing with it over and over again. I'll just use the three-pin extended plug although it is much chunkier and heavier than the original one.

Everything else on this mac is just good by far. Amazing overall design and battery life. But I'm still confused about whether the electric current leakage of metalwares is just unavoidable or it is indeed a design flaw of Apple?

无题

难得已经入夏的香港有点儿凉意，让人又想起前几天杭州雨后的凉风。没有比杭州更舒服的春秋天了，四五月的杭州，虽然渐渐有了夏天的热度，但是雨后的凉爽让人只想站着大口的呼吸。路过老家时发现天目山路上的树越来越茂密了，大有遮天蔽日之势，让人看着也舒坦不少。万松岭路还是一样路如其名，湖滨还是一样热闹，西湖里的夜游船倒是变得豪华不少。每次回家都会有惊喜的发现，除了市区的空气和交通，杭州是越来越休闲养生了。也许也和心态有关，现在每次回家都想着好好休息休息，明天就开始上班了，着实有些期待重新过上充实的日子。

Summer begins

Another semester down. My exams ended early so I got an incredibly packed schedule on reviewing. It was rather tough as I got internship interviews at the same time. But now I'm quite relieved since I didn't screw them up lol. I got an intern at Carlsberg Logistics Department in Hong Kong. It's gona start on 17th May and last til the end of July. I got Toefl, IELTS as well as GMAT to take too. A tougher summer lol.

I'm going back home tmr and gona stay for a week or less. Always wish to stay longer in Hangzhou but it just never came true :(

Recent and upcoming

Quite some time since my last post. I've been doing okay but becoming a bit more anxious recently as the summer is upcoming. Well I'm still looking for an internship, which is seemingly harder than my expectation. Comfortingly, most of my frds got into the same scrape that our applications sank after being sent lol. I guess I'm pretty confident with my interviews but, well, if they don't give me chance to be interviewed... lol I hope companies haven't started their interview sessions yet.

I'm also thinking about finding a voluntary job in Nepal or Cambodia this summer, better lasts for around one or one and a half months. It initially came to my mind when i was in Korea, where James told me his brother's doing voluntary job in Cambodia. It has always been my dream to travel around the south Asian countries but isn't it more meaningful if I can help the people there to some extent, rather than just travelling for weeks? I found an NGO in Nepal who's recruiting volunteers for a variety of natures including teaching English, Mandarin or providing health care services. I'll probably send an email to arrange a good timing. Really hope I can help the children there a bit. or I may wanna go to Qinghai to help the post-quake restoration, depending on whether Chinese government allows individual to get involved. Anyways, if can't go this time, I'll make it some day, one way or another.

Btw, just know that I got the only A+ out of 800 students in the managerial accounting mid-term exam XD. gonna work harder for the final exam so as not to waste it lol.

三月中旬

剛定了復活節去廈門的機票。記得從大一開始的復活節就一直說要去，三年之后終于要成行了。想起前一陣聽朋友說起在鼓浪嶼若是不會說廈門話就要被宰，以至于我迫不及待想見識一下鼓浪嶼人民的忽悠能力。

最近一切都挺好，不過在網上時間倒是不多。前幾個禮拜一直忙著考試和作業，過幾天終于可以稍稍輕松一陣。不忙了就特別想找本書看看。除了課本，想來最近這一年拿起書的時間真是不多。雖說不玩游戲不網聊，卻也不知道把時間花在了哪里。

今年五月五號全部考試就結束了，早到讓人一時反應不過來。還有兩三個月功夫夏天又要來了，這一年過的好像很快，來來往往的，總算是過去了不少事情。希望大家都能一切順利，許久不見的朋友們，請多保重！
